This is a video of the Underground Racing built Lambo earlier this year at the Texas Mile...acheiving 250mph! I believe this is the car that wrecked. Anybody know if it's the same car?

Did he say $25,000.00 transmission? Wow!

Damn shame that car flipped but what a freaking squirrely mess that thing is. Ever shot in that second video is the car getting out of shape at the start of the run or the end.

$25k for a transmission sounds about right.. Lamborghini and ferrari parts are rediculous. We worked on a 512 TR engine and the gasket set was $6K. Whats even more of a kick in the balls is that we had a Gallardo control arm at the shop the other day and the ball joints are Audi parts.. bet they're a lot cheaper at the audi parts counter.

I suppose I am not so shocked by the amount but the glee in which he states it. I forget there are people out there that actually enjoy their hobby/sport enough to spend money on it.

I had a friend that took his car down there. He told me that was the 2nd lambo on its 2nd engine.

The first lambo cought fire. Then he went to that one and blew the engine. He replaced it Saturday night and that happened Sunday.
