If just the transaxle is $12-14K, you budget for the whole car must be close to $100K?

I will be building a full belly pan, I have been thinking about a diffuser for a long time. I don't know that I will able to do one that will work well due to several reasons but its not ruled out yet.

There has never been much of a budget, it just keeps getting more money thrown at it.

I have spent the last 8 months building this for a customer. I got it as a roller that used to have a blown hemi in it at Pinkies. I stretched the frame, built the edsel grille shell, built: efi manifold, seats, gas tank, floor, shifter, pedals, blower mounts, basically everything but the body shell and frame rails.

Love the Edsel rod. Can we get more details on the intake plenum? Why the removable lid?

Looking great! I agree, more info on the roadster please. It looks like it deserves its own thread...

Trying to have the motor ready to fire by June 1, double check some stuff and then body is going back on. Hoping to drive by July 1 I have a lot of work to do. And more to do later but I NEED to drive this thing this summer you know to make sure I'm going in the right direction. I'll take it apart again in a few months and do some more when I confirm that its a worthy project and is capable of a couple high speed runs!

Fired the car yesterday!! Got it idling pretty good today, very exciting. Took a quick video although the quality isn't very good.
