    Bmw e46 m3

BMW has been building sporty, naturally aspirated 6-cylinder coupes since 1968 when they launched the CS, or E9 as it was known to BMW internally. Beemer almost always had a hot rod version of their coupe that delivered performance that hasn't alway... Read the rest of this article on DOGFIGHT!

There is a gorgeous Laguna Seca Blue M3 for sale locally I have been eyeballing pretty hard. Beautiful, well performing cars!

Several of the school days I help out are usually heavily populated by late BMWs. The E46 cars for sure are the last of the "classic" styling and sound for the M3. I have a couple of friends with V8 M3s, which are neat cars in their own right, but not the same as the previous gens.

I'd like to see the M3 run the track with the 64 Fairlane we saw earlier.

I've been driving an E46 daily for a bit. It's not an M. A 325xi actually. But it's got the sport suspsension and seats, some tasteful add ons and is a ton of fun. I looked at a couple M3's in the $10k range that were pretty decent but couldn't pass up the one owner cream puff I found. I've had dreams of a power plant transplant. But they are a ton of fun even with 100hp less than the M3

Zman, do you think there is a big enough difference between your 325 and a 330 that makes it worth the savings? I've been looking at different daily driver prospects and e46 coupes are one of my options. I'd like the additional power of a 330 but a 325 is more in my price range, while I'd have to come up with a couple extra grand for the 330...

I don't think so, I did drive both, and for regular day to day driving I don't see enough of a difference. Plus the 325 seems to get a couple more MPG. Which in my case is then offset by the AWD.

Ironically the flame throwing race car in the first photo is powered by a V8. Porsche raised such a stink about the homologation of the car that BMW pulled out until Rahal Letterman came back with the current car a few years ago.

    I like those a lot

Fantastic, I'm picking up an M3 in a couple weeks...in Munich, can't wait to drive it around Europe, should look like this stock photo.

You doing the European Delivery option. I wanted to do my old Audi like that but it didn't work out.
