    Jbull,

..."this pinto I believe was built by Sonney Seamon...."

It sure looks like a typical Sonney hood, so I think you're right.

Love the "motor" with an arrow on the #12's hood!

The New Hampshire Speedway museum WILL charge an admission fee and seems to be fueled by track ownership and Dick Berggren, who has strong Nascar ties, and anything Nascar touches is poison, in my opinion. Time will tell.
I'm sure your going to be right on that I will bet there's going to be a hefty admission charge! This past Christmas we were visiting family only a few miles from the track and were told about the Christmas light display the track was doing for the community so we decided it would be a nice thing to do,Well when we got to the gate to enter the light display we were told 25$ per car to drive through! You could get a small discount by having a canned good for the local food bank but no mention of the rest of the fee would go "For the good of the community"

Not to be picky 'cuz I love the old pics but the 12 was piloted by Donny Ayer, not Ayers. Those were the good old days at Mad Dog.

Those of you who are familiar with The Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown NY will know Murphy's speed and Custom. Sadly Fred passed away yesterday. Those of you who raced there will remember him as the tire dealer and parts seller but also as a kind hearted gentleman who loved his family, friends and racing..he will be missed..

    The Flying 70 Unveiling:

The Flying 70 is done! It just needs to set up, waxed, and nut & bolted. It only took me 4 years and 10 months to build this car. Thanks go out to the people who helped me, Charlie & Chris Pasteryak, CB Fabrication for the engine, Bill Tracy Welding for the aluminum TIG work, Mark LaJeunesse for the splendid body & paint, Dawley’s Collision & Custom for the use of the paint booth, and the “One Arm Bandit”, Charlie Decker for his unbelievable lettering job.

Note to Richie: The paint’s drying on the gold wheels.
