Both Flying 70 and Hemi Cuda are great looking machines. Great job, guys!
Got mine fired up over the weekend and a basic setup done on Sunday. If I get my driveshaft made in time, I'll be heading to open practice at Spencer this Friday. Only took me 5+ years!
Thanks to all for the kind words. I'll post more pictures when I have the car outside in a good setting. Zoera - I'll definitely be at Thompson and at some STAR/NEAR shows. Make yourself known to me when you see me at the car. I'm the old bastard with the gray hair.
Northeastern Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Club's first on-track event of 2012 is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Middletown, NY's Orange County Fair Speedway.
A group of vintage racers will have a vintage oval racing car show and track time. The event will be part of the Kennedale Speedway Fanfest. Kennedale is a 1/4 mile banked dirt oval. We will hit the track before the features. The track website is www.raceksp.com. The Fanfest is free and starts at 2pm. We welcome all vintage oval car types (sprint, champ, super modified, midget, stock cars and modifieds). If you are in North Texas please stop by and bring your car.
