Thread: Welcome to DOGFIGHT Magazine.

hello all, I signed up here about a couple weeks ago now, I found my way over from the HAMB boards as well. Except for the late '50's-early '60's Stock Car stuff, it just wasnt quite my thing for the rest of it.

I'm 26, originally from New Smyrna Beach, so in the '90's when I was growing up I tried to hit Speedweeks every year.
I've worked at the big track 3 times, had my first job there when I was 15 for the 2000 July race, then worked the gate in July of '04 and again in '06.

I drive trucks now, so I don't get to go to the track very often.

I'm also into rally cars, drifting, and road racing as well.

And I'm also one of the Mopar faithful, but I like a few other interesting cars too.

    Hey guys,
Just joined up, Was refered to you guys by the H.A.M.B.
My thread was closed due to the Wheels i chose for a 33 buick sedan.
I was told it wasnt a restoration site (Which was my initial intent) then posted up pics today and was made clear that their form
of rodding was too narrow for me.
Hope you guys are more excepting.
    Thanks,
    Chirs

Also will be putting up pics of the project, which is mild compared to some of the awesome stuff I've already seen in here.

    Howdy all.....

I came over because my Jag was just a titch too new for the HAMB, even tho I did about the same amount of work to it to get it running as those guys do to theirs, along with a few custom touches of my own, but I missed the cutoff date by a couple of years. I still enjoy reading and learning from those guys and maybe I'll have something HAMB worthy some day too.

In the meantime this forum seems to be right up my alley!

    Dave

I came over from the h.a.m.b also. I love it there but I feel like my 62 galaxie is out of Place since its not a traditional rod or custom. I plan to make it a street/strip car. I also love rally racing and would love to get into autocross someday.

Longtime member of the HAMB myself. I've been looking around here after seeing Metalshapes suggest it to some of the guys w/ OT vehicles.

Cool site, great concept. I've always loved the HAMB for its trove of useful, practical information. But I've never been a purist. Glad there's a site in between for guys that just appreciate great car projects.
