    Do you like 'em wild?

Thought I would solicit some input on my latest project: 427 SOHC powered 33 Ford PU (Hilborn injected no less). Not quite as traditional as the HAMB guys like, but should turn heads in my plush, suburban Dallas neighborhood. My kids just shake their head and wonder why we can't just drive a Porsche or Audi like the other kid's dads. My neighbors drive down the alley and look at my garage like I'm clubbing baby harp seals in the driveway. PRICELESS. The husbands all secretly sneak over to have a look at what I'm doing when the wifes not watching. This, my friends is what hot rodding is all about. Wait until the mysterious black marks start showing up on the street.

I'd welcome your feedback. Good or bad, I have thick skin.

I'm struggling to post the pics here, how does this work?

That is gonna leave A LOT of black marks. The Hilborn and the rear end set up say "Raygun" Tully to me. Can't wait to see this thing ALIVE! Thump a seal pup for me! Post progress shots as you can. (of the truck, not the seal -I have a weak stomach)

I started working a chassis shop about 6months ago. The frame work in the rear looks pretty damn cool. If I may ask, is there a reason the main crossmember and the X brace intersect that way ?

Cammer was introduced in 1964. Hilborn injection is even earlier. Seems like this is plenty HAMB-friendly to me.

    Nice truck.

You have a great eye, that is indeed Tully's master chassis fab. He is a mad genius. Can't wait for him to finish the headers, as if this thing wasn't over the top enough already. The guys at Hotrod Chasis and Cycle are brilliant. I saw the orange truck they built and wanted that same stance for mine. How the hell I ever let Kevin talk me into the Cammer is another story. They brought my vision to life. Now I can't wait to get this thing on the street. I'm putting the final touches on a 67 Shleby GT500 clone in my garage ready to roll the truck in for a chop, some cool floor pans and paint...yes boys and girls lots of pin straight, hyper color sanded and buffed paint. I love body and paint, so the who rust and patina thing isn't for me. But, your money, your thing. My philosophy, design it thoughtfully, build it skillfully and drive it exhuberently.
