Fiat 500 Abart around Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca

WAJ Media Day 2012 at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Taking the Fiat 500 Abarth for a couple of laps. GREAT little car. Fun handling, just enough power to make it fun, sounds AMAZING. Unfortunately the camera mic was turned down from a previous shot so the sound is VERY low. GREAT, fun car though. HIGHLY recommend one.

note, before anyone hammers me on how they could have gone faster... so could I. This wasnt a race, nor was it even a "track day"... we were just to have the cars out in a place where there were no cops and could explore the capabilities of the car in a SLIGHTLY more spirited fashion than we could on the road. The cars would be used alllll day long...no sessions. So if you really hammered on one, and the next guy did the same, the car would be used up in short order. So out of respect for those coming after we didnt drive the cars anywhere above say 6/10. But even at this one can get an idea of how a car responds in situations that 99.99% of owners will never have their cars in.

result? I REALLY liked the Fiat 500 Abarth. It wasnt the fastest out there, but it did make me giggle more than any other car I drove that day (Jag XKR-S, Audi R8 V10, Mustang GT, GTR, BRZ, C63 AMG...). For the price, $22k fully decked out, its a pretty good deal too. Handled well, sounded GREAT and was enough power to have fun with.

Is the link going to work with that period in the middle?
