It was great to get to follow up quality work for a change. I end up finishing a lot of stuff others started and I am very happy to be able to give the credit to Eric for an awesome chassis.

The car should see around 5-6 psi at full throttle, haven't quite got into it that hard yet. I want to get it over to the dyno to do the higher throttle tuning. I just used rtv for the seal (since i don't plan on opening it often). Lots of bolts and a good fit should hold the presssure just fine. Another manifold I am building with a similar flange/seal situation will see 30psi, that one will have more leak potential for sure. I thought about o-ringing it but was too lazy to do the extra machine work since I do this all on my bridgeport. What did you end up with for yours?

I use a pliable rubber gasket with holes in it for the bolts to pass through. The key is getting enough mounting bolts. On the first try we had too much space between the bolts and it was lifting the top in between the bolts and pushing out the gasket. We added twice as many bolts with no more than about an inch or so between bolts and it works fine up to 29 psi. O-ringing is definitely the way to go and if I had to do it over, I would have had it o-ringed.

The coupe is coming along good, I'll post some updates soon. Its completely apart again getting more welding on chassis tabs and such. It will start going together for real in a couple days. Every little pc needs something done as its put back on so it will be a slow assembly process, but hoping to drive it at the end of June!
